Communications

One of the things we value as a school community is contact between home and school to ensure that all students are able to access the support needed to enable them to achieve at the highest levels possible. Please be advised that if you wish to discuss a matter regarding your child the best place to start is with an email to the teacher directly (if a classroom matter) or to your child’s Mentor teacher (for pastoral or more general matters). For more serious concerns it may be appropriate to contact the Dean and/or the Head of Department directly.

Please note that if your concern is urgent then a phone call to the school office will ensure that you are put through directly to speak to an appropriate person. We certainly always endeavour to respond to any emails promptly, please note that with the teaching and other commitments staff have during the school day our expectation is that you will get a response to an email query within 2 school days / 24 hours.
